On the rare occasion that you launch a site that attains godly traffic, a major contributor is bound to be social networks. But social network traffic is a bit finicky. The first and one of the most important step to getting into an influential network is to be noticed. You can email as many times as you want, but the chances are your emails just wont make it to the blogger’s attention. I can only imagine the inbox of a popular and influential blogger.

I have been fortunate to have been noticed by some of the influential bloggers. At first my sole concern was to get something back from them immediately, but I have come to realize the importance of being a part of an influential network. In this post I will share some of my ways on how I have been able to get noticed by top bloggers, and some tips on how to sneak into their networking circle.

Some of the things I share here might be nothing new to you, but as you read you might find something that might be unique to my approach. When it comes to blogging, guest posting is a win win situation for both. The blogger writing for someone will be able to reach new audience, and the blogger hosting the writer gives his audience a new voice and a new perspective.

When I first started blogging, guest blogging seemed like more of an abuse rather than an opportunity. My thoughts to put it in words ” Why should I write for someone else? I can write the same content and promote the hell out of it on my own blog. It’s an abuse of my time and the only one that benefits is the blog that I write for. “ Right? Wrong! GhostBlogging is fairly new and we would certainly like to gain some exposure. As you can see this site has a resource page and a blog page as well. We would like to offer you a deal, it’s a pretty sweet deal… you know the one they call “win win situation.”

Before I go on rambling, here is the deal. If you write about our service on your blog we will give away a banner spot for you on the sidebar ( told you it’s a win win situation ). Please contact us before you decide to write about us because we would like to include blogs/sites that can serve as a resource for our members and visitors. We certainly don’t want you to write and then find out that we can’t put up a banner for you - not fair. I was talking about the launch of this site. Me(Ritu) and Jason first talked about launching this site 2-3 months ago and then never got to it. Although we were in full force and motivation to launch it then, as time went by GhostBlogging was left alone and we just kind of drifted our own ways. But we pulled ourselves together and here we are live and ready to roll, it’s a great feeling.
